All efforts are guided by and in adherence to the recommendations distributed by the CDC.

In adherence to the social distancing recommendations provided by the CDC, we have implemented strict protocols at our clinic to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

Temecula Valley Comprehensive Treatment Center is a leading provider of medically-supervised medication-assisted treatment for adults 18 years of age and older. Understanding how critical it is to provide services that can promote successful recovery from addictions to opioids like heroin, our treatment center offers the following medications that have been proven effective and can be incorporated into a patient’s personalized treatment plan:

Methadone: Methadone is a synthetic medication that is classified as an opioid agonist. This medication is effective in preventing cravings and withdrawal and does not cause the same disorienting high as other opioids.

Subutex: Subutex contains buprenorphine as its primary ingredient, and works to lessen withdrawal symptoms and cravings by blocking the dangerous effects of opioids on the brain. Subutex is a partial opioid agonist-antagonist.

Suboxone: Like Subutex, Suboxone contains buprenorphine. However, it also contains naloxone, which when combined with buprenorphine, reduces cravings and withdrawal symptoms. If an individual attempts to abuse Suboxone or other opioids during treatment, withdrawal symptoms will occur.

Vivitrol: Vivitrol is a non-narcotic medication that is non-addictive. Injected once per month, this medication (which contains naltrexone) stops withdrawal symptoms and cravings for the continued use of opioids.

The medication that is prescribed, as well as the dosage, will be based on each patient’s individual treatment needs. These medications can also be adjusted if a patient requires such during treatment.

Temecula Valley Comprehensive Treatment Center offers services created specifically to help individuals who are obtaining medication assisted treatment that include the use of methadone, Vivitrol, Subutex, or Suboxone. Our team of certified medical professionals and addiction specialists, which include counselors, doctors, and nurses, is devoted to providing top-notch care for each individual that comes to us for treatment. Below are the services we provide at our center that have aided in individuals in transforming their lives by overcoming addictions to opioids:

  • Individual therapy sessions are available so patients can work through their emotions, feelings, and successes, and setbacks in their recovery with a counselor in a one-on-one setting.
  • Group counseling sessions are led by licensed addiction counselors who encourage patients to obtain support and guidance from others who have shared in similar challenges.

Through medication-assisted treatment that incorporates additional methods of care, Temecula Valley Comprehensive Treatment Center has been successful in helping individuals develop lifestyles that are drug-free and filled with good health.
